Looking for somewhere new and fun to spend an afternoon or evening when you have nothing planned or get off work early? Take a short trip east on New Mexico Highway 549 to the newly sodded, painted and decorated St. Clair Winery.

Tasting Room Supervisor, Lora Robinson, has a fully trained staff available to serve samples or set you up with a bottle, case or more of Deming’s own award-winning St. Clair wines. Seating is available indoors along with a shopping area loaded with wines, wine accessories, and gourmet treats.

For those who may not be familiar with the many varieties, they can help with a guided tasting to find one wine that suits your pallate or occasion.

You and your guests can relax either in the sun or enjoy the shade on the covered patio or front veranda.

Bottled mineral waters, specialty sodas, gourmet foods and snacks can be purchased on-site as well. Feel free to bring your own picnic basket and sit out on the covered patio, just make sure to leave any outside alcohol at home.

St. Clair’s popular Summer Concert Series will begin on Friday and run every Friday through the end of August. Enjoy live music from talented local bands and artists from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. A sneak preview for May includes: Friday, May 6 “Fastlane/Cadillac Kings” on Friday, May 13 “Steppin Up” on Friday, May 20 “Smokin Mirrors” and Friday, May 27 “Fastlane/Cadillac Kings.

If you have never been to the winery for the Summer Concert Series, you can bring your own lawn chairs, picnic fare (no grills please) and spread out on the luscious front lawn, or there is limited seating available on the covered patio area.

Families with children are always welcome!
